Daimon, on-line and in Cartoon School! Competition
Daimon is a comic book series created by George Pelizzari (the texts) and Lorenzo Sartori (drawings) published monthly Focus on Kids, the popular science magazine for children. on number 77 of the School of Comics, we interviewed the two authors, within the rich dossier that actually makes this new release date almost a monograph on comics for kids. Flashfumetto , the portal of the Municipality of Bologna dedicated to comics, this year also promotes a national competition open to all young artists, who scored in the previous editions an important finding, with the participation of more than 100 young artists to edition. After the successful trilogy of competitions dedicated to experimentation on the language of comics, Flashfumetto strengthens its ties with BilBOlbul (Bologna March 2 to 6) , working on the relationship between literature and comics. So created the national competition We are pleased to have you among us. Tales of Stefano Benni comic, aimed at young people aged 15 to 35 years. It requires participants to confront the work of the great writer from Bologna, and in particular with three collections of short stories representative of his career as a narrator, since the 80s to today. Participants will have to adapt in a cartoon a story chosen from those contained in the following collections: The bar under the sea (Feltrinelli, 1987), The last tear (Feltrinelli, 1994) and The Grammar of God (Feltrinelli, 2007) . The comic book will be a faithful adaptation of the text or rereading of Benni, or an original short story che prenda spunto da un personaggio o una situazione descritti nelle antologie indicate.
