In all these years I have known the likes of Giuseppe Sinopoli, Nello Santi, Nunzio Todisco, Neil Shicoff, Leo Nucci, Alexander Lonquich, Vittorio Bresciani, Andre Previn, Neeme Jarvi, but also Francesco Renga, Samuele Bersani, Biagio Antonacci and Renato Zero. 
Then corporate succession plans, incorporation by the BMG, the major concern for the fate dell'Archivio Storico di Casa Ricordi che sembrava in procinto di lasciare l'Italia ed infine l'acquisizione della catena di negozi da parte delle Librerie Feltrinelli hanno segnato la mia attività fino alla decisione nel 2000 di lasciare per dedicarmi totalmente alla musica. Di tanto in tanto tornavo per brevi collaborazioni e sempre con immenso piacere perchè lavorare con questi colleghi era davvero bello. Un destino amaro mi ha riservato l'ingrato compito di abbassare per sempre la serranda su miliardi di note udite da queste mura in trent'anni di esercizio commerciale; un sipario che cala su una grande opera. Un'immensa perdita culturale per la città di Verona e per moltissime persone che hanno perso il loro punto di riferimento e, perché no? Di incontro to chat about music.
